STEM Racing is an international competition that enables young engineers, aged 9 to 19, to compete in order to achieve the final goal of building the best miniature race car. STEM Racing challenges its participants to combine numerous facets of engineering, including manufacturing skills, business management, analytical skills, coding skills, and collaborative skills. Over the years, the competition has grown to include more than 17,000 schools in 51 countries, with over 20 million students entering in teams of 3-7.Â
We are IONIX Racing, a STEM Racing team based in Chicago, IL. Our team is made up of 7 high school students who are getting ready to race in the upcoming 2025- 2026 STEM Racing Professional Division. We are confident that we will not only place highly in the Regional competition, but also go on to win Nationals and then Worlds, representing our country on the way. We are prepared to go above and beyond and set the new standard for innovation. IONIX Racing is ready to dedicate our time and effort to this competition, how ever far it takes us.
